TJ

My name is Tammy, but everyone calls me T.J. (a nickname I acquired many years ago while working at Steak & Ale). I have been working in the dental profession 30 plus years and I have been with the Drescher & Cohen Team since April Fool's Day 1992! Such a fitting anniversary date! For over 12 of those years I was a Dental Assistant but since November 2004 I have been the Practice Administrator. This change has been an exciting and challenging learning experience. I am privileged to be a part of this amazing team and have a job and workplace that I love. I am fortunate to have made many wonderful, lasting relationships throughout the years with our staff and patients and look forward to making even more.

Hi! My name is Patrick, and I am a Neuromuscular Massage Therapist (NMT). I have been treating acute and chronic muscle pain in this office since 1997 and in Atlanta since 1987. I specialize in the treatment of Temporal Mandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJ).

Lyuba

Hello! My name is Lyuba and I have been working with Dr. Drescher and Dr. Cohen since 1999 as a Dental Assistant. I have learned so many things from them and my co-workers. I enjoy working in dentistry because it offers me the opportunity to help people. I find it very rewarding to see people leave the office smiling and feeling good about themselves. I know that every patient that leaves our office leaves with the highest quality of dental care that is available today.

Tracey

Hello! My name is Tracey. My background, before joining Team Drescher & Cohen in 1997, was in retail sales with Rich's at Lenox Mall. I also volunteered at Oak Grove Elementary and one morning saw an ad in the school newsletter that read "Looking for a part-time Mom." I called about the ad and the rest is history! Dr. Drescher jokes that it's the best $10 he has ever spent on an ad & I agree! At the office I perform numerous duties such as assisting the doctors & hygienists, fabricating splints, whitening trays and keeping everything stocked and sterilized.  I enjoy working in dentistry, it's rewarding when you see people leaving our office smiling and happy! It's a feeling you just can't explain.

Tonya

Hi, my name is Tonya! I am a Registered Dental Hygienist and have been working in the dental field since 1995. I've had the privilege to work with Dr.'s Drescher and Cohen since 2003. There is nothing more rewarding than helping our patients achieve their optimal oral health.

I reside in Acworth with my husband Matthew and our two beautiful children Ashlyn and Landon.

Kathy

Hi! I'm Kathy and I graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1985 with a Dental Hygiene degree. I have been very fortunate to work with Dr. Drescher and Dr. Cohen since I graduated from hygiene school. I love my job and my patients! It feels like home when I come to work here!

I currently live in Athens with my husband, Steve, and our two boys, Ben and Will. I drive into Atlanta on Mondays to see my long-time patients and my friends on this great staff.

Erin

I am Erin and I have been a part of Dr. Drescher's & Dr. Cohen's since 2005. I love being a hygienist and feel honored to be a part of this great team. I treasure the relationships I have with the staff and my patients! When I am not working, I am a performer and improviser with Group Mind Productions. I enjoy writing, reading, yoga, vegan cooking and playing with my dog.

Nancy

Hi, my name is Nancy and I am the Bookkeeper for Drescher & Cohen and have loved working with this wonderful team since 2014. I have been in the dental field since 1987 and have seen so many incredible advancements occur. I love that our patients always leave with a smile!

When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my family, dogs and friends. I am passionate about food and enjoy cooking. I am up for any kind of adventure, I also enjoy photography and attending concerts.

Vy Nguyen

Hi!  My name is Vy (pronounced "V", the "y" is silent). My parents are from Vietnam and I was born in Seattle, WA.  I attended East Tennessee State University, where I achieved my B.S. in biology degree.  I worked in an environmental lab during the week and helped my parents at the nail salon on weekends before I decided to move to Atlanta. I went to Clayton State University, where I graduated with B.S. in dental hygiene.  I've been making people smile as a registered dental hygienist since 2014. It is a rewarding experience for me to educate patients on oral health and good oral hygiene. I am super stoked to be part of the Drescher & Cohen family and hope to make you smile soon!

Devan

My name is Devan. I have been in Dental since 2010. I started out in the back office as an assistant and worked my way up front. I have a beautiful daughter Zoey and son Ryland. I am from GA but have moved around to some cool places. I lived in California for 4 years and moved to Hawaii for 3 years and ended back in my hometown.

When I am not working, I enjoy being outside. We attend different art festivals and when it’s summertime we like everything with water (lake, pool, river & especially the beach).

Giselle

Hi! My name is Giselle but everyone calls me Gigi! My family is from Colombia and I was born and raised here in Atlanta. I have been a Dental Assistant since 2011. I enjoy helping people and seeing them smile so I knew I picked the right field when I got into dentistry. I enjoy being part of such a great team here at Drescher & Cohen and I look forward to working with patients and seeing them leave satisfied and happy. 

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband Alex and our two German Shepherds. I also enjoy traveling, shopping, working out, exploring new restaurants, and museums, and spending time with family and friends.

Alejandra

Hola! My name is Alejandra. I was born and raised in Claxton, Ga – better known as the fruitcake capital of the world. I started working in the dental field in 2014 and joined the Drescher and Cohen team in 2019. Like my spontaneous personality, I am all around the front office. You can find me verifying insurance or helping a patient schedule their next appointment.
I enjoy watching Netflix, listening to music, staying active, and traveling with my husband. We also have two fur babies named Coco and Amira.

Keisha

Hi! My name is Keisha. I have been blessed to be working 20 plus years in the dentistry field giving me optimal customer service skills. I am very passionate and dedicated of what I do as the Insurance Coordinator. I love being able to help our patients get the maximum benefits out of their level of insurance for their dental needs. Along with my dental experience, I have my Associates degree in accounting. As you can infer, numbers and critical thinking are my strongest attributes.

Outside of the office, I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, spending time with my family & friends, and attending worship at Church of Christ. I have a wonderful husband, who I have been married to for over 25 years and together we have raised a beautiful son and daughter.
